Washing and particle cleanliness

Cleanliness of machined parts is a major issue for our customers.

Palumbo Industries operates a dedicated washing workshop, equipped with ultrasonic cleaning and fine particle filtration, ensuring controlled particle cleanliness.

Our controls ensure that our processes comply with ISO 16232 standards (analysis of particle residue) and fulfill the requirements of our automotive and aerospace customers.

Every delivered part is free from critical particles that could compromise assemblies or mechanical systems.

Polissage & tribofinition

In some cases, surface finish plays a critical functional role : sealing, friction, service life.

Laser marking & traceability

Palumbo Industries integrates laser marking into its production lines to ensure full traceability of the parts.
Each component can receive a customized identification (code, batch number, customer part number) without surface damage note particle contamination.

Final inspection and compliance

Before shipment, parts undergo an automated camera inspection ensuring geometrical, visual and dimensional compliance.

These procedures ensure a near-zero PPM defect rate for ready-to-use components.
