At Palumbo Industries, innovation is not limited to products : it concerns the processes, tools and methods that we use every day.
Each year, 5 % of our turnover is dedicated to research and development, which aims at pushing the limits of profile and precision machining.
We design our own machining processes, our own tools and our own automated inspection systems, in order to ensure productivity, accuracy and dimensional stability over high volumes.

Palumbo Industries’s integrated design office
Our design office oversees all R&D projects, including :
- Custom process design from the preliminary project phase
- Digital simulation of machining conditions
- In-house industrialization with our workshop team
- Quality validation through scanning and CMM measurements
This integrated expertise enables agile co-conception with our customers : we develop solutions tailored to their mechanical, cost and time contraints.
Precision machiningPatented processes, developed in-house
Innovation at Palumbo also results in filed patents and customized machines :
- Development of mirror-polished milling processes for a perfect surface finish
- Design of an entirely integrated camera inspection machine
- Creation of machining processes with reinforced tolerances for structure components
Our engineers and technicians work closely together to design, test and industrialize these innovations, directly in our workshop in Vougy, Haute-Savoie.
