Palumbo Industries machines precision components from round bars and from drawn profiles out of steel alloys and stainless steel, designed for the most demanding mechanical environments, in particular internal combustion and electric automotive applications.
Our rotary transfer machines and our multi-axis CNC lathes enable high-volume production while ensuring a constant accuracy and a controlled dimensional stability through 100% automated quality inspections.
We machine various steel grades based on the required performances : 11SMn37, 16MnCr5, 42CrMo4, C45, AISI 303, 304 and 316; these grades are selected to meet the specified strength, hardness, fatigue resistance and wear resistance.
Heat treatments, as quenching-tempering or nitriding, increase the durability of the components and improve their performance under severe conditions.
